This game with the Raiders is crazy. Chargers final drive takes them into OT. Both teams are exhausted. A tie moves both teams into the playoffs and forces the Steelers out. Let’s see what happens….

Six 4th down conversions by the Chargers. Herbert has been amazing, but still, the Raiders need to make some plays on a few of those.

That was crazy. Raiders win on a FG as OT expires, and they're going to the playoffs. If they had missed the FG, they still would have made the playoffs.

Did it really? The only way I can see it changing things is if that extra 40 seconds gave Vegas the opportunity to realize they could play Cincy instead of KC.
I think they were content running out the clock. We’ll never know though n

Double bummer - no Siemian and no Jackson in the POs.

Think we can retire the Cardiac moniker for now when it comes to the Cats since it's been a while since they've had an O capable of making big comebacks late in games.

Multiple Raiders' players have indicated they were content to let the clock run out at that point, but then the LAC timeout changed their plans. It really seemed like a terrible decision by the LAC coach. The only explanation I can think of was that he called the timeout because he was sincerely nervous about something he saw in how his defense was lined up for that play.

Herbert is remarkable for his ability to stand back there and hold on just long enough to find a window. He will a guy hanging on his legs, and still zing it into a tight space. And the TD pass he threw on the last play of regulation was mind-bending. He is gonna be a great QB.

The crazy pass interference call on the Chargers was hard to swallow. The ball was not catchable and the receiver took a dive

It was terrible because you really have to have a better feel for what's going on as a coach and trust your personnel to just execute run defense to stop a 3rd & 4. He was able to call the play with the personnel, mainly DT Linval Joseph, he wanted, but the offense was able to catch its breath and blocked it well which cost them the game. He had to have confidence they could stop the 3rd & 4 pre-timeout because any 4th down and Staley could call timeout to force a punt, because anything else would be an unnecessary risk.

Looks like he's already a great QB. The final TD pass to Williams was into double coverage. He threaded the needle perfectly. On the 2 point conversion after the previous TD, he went through his progressions and found the 5th option barely open in the corner of the end zone. Had a defender at his ankles, and he made a perfect pass, just out of the reach of the CB. He's fun to watch.
