Carolina football: undisciplined, unprepared and improperly coached

Before I stopped responding to the trolls on the other board, they used to offer up a 60 million donation to the school as evidence that Missouri's NIL was so much more than ours. They just glossed over that the 60 million was to the athletic department, and not used on NIL deals.

The truth is, there is no concrete info on NIL from school to school, so any poster can make a good story for any position.
If we can pay Sellers right at $4 million, our NIL budget isn't too shabby. Poor mouthing about NIL is a weak excuse for what Carolina is putting on the field.

Agreed completely.

That 4 million put sellers as 5th top paid player this year.

We're not competing with Texas money, but we're not poor.

Edit: I would think a better way to go about it is to look at recruiting rankings and transfer portal rankings.

You've always been a very slow and misinformed frog.

That one donation was earmarked for their AD and it was the tip of the iceberg in terms of their donations.

I'm not reposting it all for you again if that's what you're looking for. :)

Below is what the AD can now do with that money.

"
"Under the rules established by the House v. NCAA settlement, Division I schools that opt in can now directly compensate student-athletes for their name, image, and likeness (NIL) through a revenue-sharing model."

"This allows participating schools to distribute up to approximately $20.5 million annually (with the cap increasing over time) directly to athletes, in addition to scholarships and third-party NIL deals."

Undisciplined and sloppy play has been the norm under Beamer.

Crisp performances have been the anomalies.

You always start your posts with an insult ...

The 247 site this year ranked us 22nd in the NIL rankings. Missouri and Ole Miss were not in the Top 25. Nor, for that matter, was Vanderbilt.

Wow.

I wonder how they got their rankings. But if true, it certainly counters the "we are NIL poor" argument.

I don't know. I remember someone here recently mentioned the 247 rankings, saying we are better off in NIL than he had thought. I get so sick and tired of a certain poster here, he, who shall not be named, LOL, using the NIL excuse. So, I googled 247/2025 NIL Collective Rankings and found the rankings.

Don`t know how many designed, or improvised, QB runs we have had this year but seems no where near last year. We need that again, especially since we are struggling with running in traditional ways. Free Lanorris!

Beamer was emphatic that we are calling the same gosh dang plays as last year.

He said "gosh dang" so I know he was seriousl

Watch the games. I've said it since before the season started, DCs know how to defend Sellers now. They know to contain him with the rush and keep a spy on him to stop his improvised scrambles for big gains.

He was unstoppable vs Clemson.

Illinois completely shut him down.
