"We have not received a single report from anyone to help locate these people who were (kidnapped)," Almaguer said at the news conference. He said authorities had also not heard of anyone demanding a ransom.

Maybe we should just hire these Latin American drug cartels as mercenaries in the War on Terror [laughing]

So we're funding/assisting the Jalisco cartel now.

I read an article about the cartels reach in the Middle East a few years ago and damnit I wish I had it because it shocked me at the time. But they're world reach is unreal, and they (cartels) control a lot more than you might realize.

We used to back Sinaloa. Now we'll back whoever is coming for Sinaloa, and so on, so forth, etc...

Great business model, tbh.

I've been to Sinaloa many times. Walked the streets. Smelled the dirt in the air. Flew in and out of Los Mochis which is the town where El Chapo was arrested. If you're flying to Sinaloa then you're going in and out of Los Mochis. I know many people there and if it wasn't so damned dangerous anymore then I'd live there myself quiet and peaceful out in the countryside.

Things aren't like they used to be. The world has gotten meaner. Being an American used to make you like a movie star but now it makes you hated. We're on the downswing now and are back peddling. Our time is over. We can't hold it back much longer.
