Not surprising. There are three tiers in the Big 10 right now. Top Tier - UW - Hayes, Happ and Koenig lead the way (all former 4-star athletes); MSU - will not be as dominant with Valentine and a 6'10" jumper who killed the 'cats Davonta Davis not there, but they reload with the no. 4 recruiting class and bring back Harris; 3. IU - 5-star C Bryant and Blackmon back along with Johnson and Freshman No. 3 who has great athletic talent; 4. Purdue - 7'1" Haas and Swanigan will form the top front court, but still lack backcourt players. Bottom tier - 14. Minny, 13. Rutgers, 12. UofI, 11. PSU, 10. UNL.

That leaves NU in the mid-tier with UM, OSU, Under Armour U or Md., Iowa and NU. NU went 0-6 against these teams and that will have to change for NU to make the NIT or become a bubble NCAA team. The difference is that NU will add 4-star talent in Vic Law, Rapalos I., Benson to the roster and Falzon will make a big development from a frosh to a soph.
