Squires robbed by the Scoreboard in right. Has to settle for a long single instead of a home run. Nothing doing, going to 5th inning tied at 1.
Squires gets bit by the new Big Blue sign in RF, would have been a HR. He is then thrown out trying to steal, had he went head first he may have been safe.
Pretty standard small ball play that most managers would choose in a low-scoring game like this, but I still hate it when you have a hitter like Reks at the plate.
Wow, I don't know what it is about Georgia, seems like we lose to them even when they are horrible and we are good. Just a really bad outing by Salow today.
Ouch. Went to Salow too soon in my opinion. Lewis was doing well and I believe was under 80 pitches
UGA has had some dang luck in the late innings... guy before should've never got on with that hit.

This weekend hurts for a lot of reasons. We made a guy with a 7 era look like Sandy Koufax today.
Mingione has gotten away with some bad ecisions this year but today takes the cake. Took out Lewis way to early and brought in Salow who threw a lot of pitches on Friday and obviously was ineffective. Also the batters are pressing and not playing loose. It is a case of a team feeling too good about theirselves and cost them a National Seed. Pure Choke job!
Or they could be playing too tight knowing that this series and the others are all critical.
Taking out Lewis was bad in hindsight, but having a guy with a 0.43 ERA come in is usually a good thing and you'd never think he'd give up 5 earned runs. If he closed the game as he usually does we wouldn't consider it a bad decision.
Sorry but bringing in Collette was definitely a dumb decision. He's gotten like 1 hit this year.
Wow, just a brutal weekend. Team looked off all weekend, very shaky all the way around. Losing 1 would not have killed us but losing as series to this team is just a disaster. Now a national seed may be out of the picture unless we can beat UF.
Not sure where they were picked. That's irrelevant now. Losing this series was inexcusable, especially considering the way we lost both games.
My one gripe at NM...NOBODY on this team can bunt the ball, give it up for crying out loud!
Well the team has just put themselves in a position that they cannot lose a game in the next five and must win the series at Fla...no sugar coating it, this hurts bad and puts their back against a wall!
The loss dropped us 4 spots to 7th. This upcoming week should be a decent RPI boost with Indiana being a top 25 team and Tennessee actually being top 50.
pretty sure JL was at 100, but still was pitching well. No need for a switch, but that's bb today. I don't like it , but that's the way coaches do it. Now in a deep hole to be able to host in the tourney all the way.

You're simply not going to score the runs we have been scoring every game. Gotta be able to win on the days the bats are cold. Had the chance to do it...
