I think this article hints at the advice I would give every UW opponent's offense - go for the big play, because sustaining drives against the UW defense has been a rarity. When opposing offenses do score, it's usually either a long pass, or they were given a short field off a turnover.
Also, get turnovers. UW - and Mertz in particular - has had a problem with those. You'll also likely be getting some untested RBs as the leading rusher (Mellusi) got injured last week and is out for the year. He really split the carries with 17-year old Braelon Allen, though, and he's been fantastic, but will put the ball on the ground. The RB2 will be a committee of guys with very little experience. The depth at that position took some huge hits with transfers and dismissals (and now Mellusi's injury), so we're pretty far down the depth chart, now. A couple of them got in in garbage time against Rutgers and flashed some ability, but they were down the depth chart for a reason.
