Houston, BYU and probably Texas Tech are better than Kansas this year. Arizona and Iowa State may be better too. Kansas no longer has a cakewalk in that league.
Kansas’ stronghold over the Big 12 ended 3 years ago. Their downhill trajectory is reminiscent of Cal’s later years at UK.
Yeah to be honest I had to take a quick look at Kenpom.........projected 18-12 (10-8 in conference) for KU.
Rough. This despite being ranked 29th on the site lol. Conference isn't bad. Might be the sixth best team in that conference when it's all said and done.
Got us projected 24-7. So that would be a gain of +6 which would get us I guess to +14..........then if we advance further in the conference and NCAA tournaments...........it's not completely unreasonable I guess.
