An entertaining first half! A few thoughts;

*Two holding penalties. Three drops. One turnover. If Kentucky can play ONE FREAKING CLEAN HALF, they might win this one.

*I didn't figure UK would do much in the wildcat, and they aren't. U of L puts eight in the box every time a RB lines up to take the snap. UK can still run the ball, but I think they need to do it with Johnson at QB.

*I said this game was on Stephen Johnson. So far, he's coming through. Johnson has thrown some beautiful deep balls. He's scrambled a couple of times for big gains. Need him to play just as well in the 2nd half.

*UK's pass defense...the zone is getting picked apart more often than not. UK has had some success with blitzing. I hope we see more of it in the 2nd half. It's risky as hell, but so is allowing Jackson lots of time to find receivers.

I already mentioned it, but I'd give anything for this team to play a clean 2nd half. No flags. No turnovers. On defense, force a couple of turnovers.

GBB!!!

One more thought. I don't think I've ever commented on announcers, but holy hell. Mike Patrick has always been awful, IMO. The color guy is even worse. I'm muting them in the 2nd half.

I'd give my left acorn for this team to come out and ball in the 2nd. I have 3 kids, i don't need it.

First team to 600 yards wins? Both teams on pace to get there.

Basically the opposite of the Michigan-OSU game.

Not sure if there were two holds or not, but that doesn't change it. The drop by #2 was especially painful, driving with a first down and then they end up scoring. I hope Jordon is full speed the second half.
