An entertaining first half! A few thoughts;
*Two holding penalties. Three drops. One turnover. If Kentucky can play ONE FREAKING CLEAN HALF, they might win this one.
*I didn't figure UK would do much in the wildcat, and they aren't. U of L puts eight in the box every time a RB lines up to take the snap. UK can still run the ball, but I think they need to do it with Johnson at QB.
*I said this game was on Stephen Johnson. So far, he's coming through. Johnson has thrown some beautiful deep balls. He's scrambled a couple of times for big gains. Need him to play just as well in the 2nd half.
*UK's pass defense...the zone is getting picked apart more often than not. UK has had some success with blitzing. I hope we see more of it in the 2nd half. It's risky as hell, but so is allowing Jackson lots of time to find receivers.
I already mentioned it, but I'd give anything for this team to play a clean 2nd half. No flags. No turnovers. On defense, force a couple of turnovers.
GBB!!!
