1) RHP Trip Lockhart - Lexington Catholic. Young junior who has reached up to 88 with his FB and has a very good curveball and change up. Had very good control and is very good at mixing speeds. He chose the Cats over West Virginia.

2) RHP Ben Jordan (the big one) West Carter - ranked as the #2 player in the state (behind Jordon Adell) and #8 overall in the PBR scouting area this 6'8 right handed pitcher has tons of projectability. He can already reach his fastball up to 94-95 and mixes in some good off speed. This kid has a chance of getting drafted very high. Reportedly chose us over Vandy and others.

Ben Jordan is the real deal. He'll likely be a first round pick.
Meant to ask this in the other thread, but who do you think will actually enroll at UK in the 2016 class? Might still be too early to tell but wanted to get your opinion.

Might be easier to answer by saying who you think will sign with the team that drafts them out of high school.

I think Collett and Badoo will likely turn pro. I'm optimistic about McGee and Shelby going to UK. Of course the draft is still two months away so things could change. I will say though that the chances of all four recruits in the top 100 going to UK are extremely slim. If we get two out of the four I'll be ecstatic.

The one interesting thing about Shelby is if he comes to UK, what will Javon do? Depending on where he is drafted, does he stay to play with his brother or does he go ahead and turn pro.
