Last year’s perfect storm of Snell/Allen appears to be over. Back to same ole will they/won’t they get bowl eligible. Struggling vs MAC team with back up QB in game.

So Toledo beat them? I haven't seen scores yet
No. Toledo lost by two touchdowns. Slow first half. Stupid mistakes second half but game wasn’t that close.

I think reality doesn’t really impact some of the posters here. Same on UK site... rivalry I guess.

Said before I want UK and UL to mean something. Tired of hearing Duke/UNC or Bama/Auburn. I want the Kentucky rivalry to be the best...

Most in your fanbase think you have a legitimate shot at the SEC title game this year. So......there's that.

Bruh you only pulled away because Toledos QB got knocked out of the game. UK was getting gashed up to that point.

Yeah I am lazy sometimes. I am disappointed that Uk won by 2 TD's I thought maybe they had lost
Matt Jones is that you? Only a loserrrrr uk fan would take the time to post some shib on their rival’s board pretending to be a neutral observer from Indiana.

Goodness, you Slappies set annual records for being the dumbest, thin skinned turds in College Football.

The game was tight up until the Toledo QB got hurt. Then it got away from them.

I hate to say but UK’s schedule is garbage outside of Flordia and Georgia they will win 9 or 10 games again. USC jr, UT, Vandy and Missouri looked terrible.

The SEC east is going to kill Georgia’s SOS. They will have to go undefeated.

South Carolina is indeed garbage. If Muschamp loses to the kitties he might possibly be fired immediately after the game. And, I think that is a real possibility.

The SEC east ad’s have made the laziest hires in the country. Pure arrogance.

Mushchamp-Fired at Florida. Yeah good idea to hire him to run a program that has less talent.

UT-Could of hired Mike Leech a proven program builder instead pick a assistant at Alabama. That has never built a program. Another good idea turnover a complete rebuild to a coach that has never done it.

Missouri-Replace a super coach with an assistant that has never ran a program.

UK to their credit stuck with Stoops. Proved to be a very smart hire and good plan. There is a lot of football knowledge in that family. Good recruiter.

UGA made a hard choice to get rid of Richt. Smart was a perfect hire because he with Saban a long time. UGA is close to Alabama talent.

SEC east took major step backwards yesterday. First game losses are no crime ....
Everything is new. When one loss was to a 17 point dog and another to 25 point dog you have to wake up. West looks pretty loaded minus Ol Miss and Arkansas.
If it was a one game season I'd give Clemson the trophy and forget it.

History tells us there are 12 teams every year that can win it all and they don’t change. Everyone else is just playing for ***** and giggles.

Oklahoma
Texas
Clemson
Alabama
LSU
Auburn
Ohio State
Florida
Florida State
Georgia
Michigan
USC

Every now and then a team outside this group will make the playoff but they have no shot.

Being a uk fan I stay out of Louisville affairs and topics. It’s really none of my business. If Kentucky comes up and it often does as Lafors explained then I enjoy defending the team that I follow. I’m thick skinned so I don’t care if folks call me names. I don’t break the rules and it’s fun to spar with y’all about something as meaningless as sports. I have to believe that I’m not the only one who agrees.

If you want to be rafters then it’s not that hard. Just expel all opposing fans. Then you basically create and online pep rally, but it’s really not as interesting as it sounds. Be better than rafters in regards to opposing views.

Here let me help you stay out of UofL affairs.

Well, with UT, Missouri and USC sucking so bad and Florida underachieving, they might hit a perfect storm... I’m sure Georgia will have a say in that.

I was at the game. Judging a team by its first game, especially one quasi-rebuilding, I didn’t leave the stadium thinking “UK is going to suck this year.” They were far from great, Terry’s QB play was below average, their kicking game is quite good, and #32 in their secondary needs to get good quick. He was repeatedly thrown at. Toledo is a good team. I respect the hell out of MAC football. The feeling I got afterwards from UK radio guys, was that the game should have been a blowout. Sounded like there was disappointment, maybe some cause for concern, but looking back at a wild Saturday yesterday, it’s all about just getting the win.

PFF gave Terry a rating of over 80, when 60 is average. He didn’t play below average

I agree with the rest above - UK covered, got game experience for the corners (who got burned early), and defense had to knock rust off of their gap control

It was about as I expected

That backwards/incomplete pass that resulted in a loss, awesome. That one pass that he skipped to the open RB, outstanding. A play after that, he overthrew a wiiiide open WR 25/30 yards down the field. 67.9 QBR, 9 carries, 1 yard. Below average in my book, but I’m a Louisville fan used to good QB play.

Oh yes the 128th ranked QB in the country how could I forget. Only the best QB play in CardCountry

Let’s see, the last 20 years: Redman (NFL), Ragone (NFL), LeFors (NFL), Brohm (NFL), Bridgewater (NFL), Jackson (NFL), not to mention the NFL QB’s from Louisville before them, including the gold standard, Johnny Unitas. Maybe you’ve heard of him. Yes, there is a QB standard at UofL. UK has found a niche being JUCO QBU, though.

I felt like they didn’t trust tw at all in the first half. But he threw some really nice balls in the second half. The receivers held on to the ball which is a bit of a surprise given uk’s history of buttery fingers
