Coming off a 5-1 win on Friday, the Cats will send righty Dustin Beggs ( 2-0 0.64 era ) out to face the Bulls @ 2:00 pm at the Cliff. Cats got a solid performance from Zack Brown in the opener, and I expect a similar performance from Beggs today.
Evan White came alive yesterday, while L Becker, and R Mahan continued to swing a hot bat. Personally I would like to see Becker in the lead off spot, and G McNeil hitting clean up, with Mahan in the 5 hole. I think Storm Wilson would be more effective hitting lowe in the line up.

This is the kind of game we were hoping to see this season. Moving on the bases, hitting runners over, and taking advantage of mistakes.

9 hits already in this one and we're only in the bottom of the third. That's the kind of hitting we needed!

Josh Smith now getting some time at the plate as he pinch hits for McNeil. Apparently Henderson likes Smith to be a two way player.

14 runs, 21 hits, a real thumpin today. Evan White has put on his BIG BOY pajamas now, he is stroking the bat !!
