Great start quickly turns into a 6-3 deficit in the bottom of the 2nd. Missed chance to get out of the inning before a grand slam by MSU's stud.
I do not understand why we are leading Evan White off. I could see batting him second or my preference the 3 hole. Just one of those things that annoys the heck out of me. lol
I agree. Also don't like Pompey second. I liked Carson, White, and the Reks or Pompey

Who else would you rather have up? Makes a lot of sense to have your best hitter hit leadoff for reasons just like that.

The problem, IMO, is that Pompey isn't a terribly scary guy backing up White. So they can pitch around White and go after Pompey if they lose White.
Just seems like we were more well oiled with Carson leading off !
