I missed the Cards batting in the first but you’ll never see a worse base running mistake than that one for UK. No score top of the second.

Double, walk, ground out, walk, strike out, line out. Odds are not in your favor with two free passes. Now we just need to get some hits and free passes without the base running foibles.

Two straight strike outs looking. You can't will them to be balls.

Only in the first inning did we get the lead off runner on. And he got himself doubled off. Here in the bottom of the fifth, we waited until two outs to get anyone on. We have also ended the last four innings with fly outs. Not seeing very effective swings. It seems like Burkes is not using his legs much at all.

It looks like Burkes is swinging for the fence every time he comes to bat.

It does but it seems like it is mostly arms moving around. Not a compact swing at all, a lot of extra moving parts. Seems like he has hit a lot of fly balls with not much carry.

"Three straight hits" now 2-0 with no outs and two on.

That was the 2nd straight outing where Logue didn't record an out.

I’m going to have to watch something else. Every time I watch the baseball or softball team they get beat, they are not on a lot but can’t seem to win when they are on TV. On top of that, it’s Louisville and Kentucky is ranked higher.

Think the baserunning blunder early told where the team's head was tonight . Getting beat at our own game . I truly think McDonell is Mingione's kriptonite. Gonna go ahead and get this out this out of the way...0-4 this week.

It's my fault because I just told my wife they get beat every time I watch them.

Louisville has rolled out 4 pitchers from Kentucky who have held us to 0 runs. Need to start getting some of those guys.

For the life of me I don’t understand or even can think of what was going through Grays head on that one. He’s halfway to third before he even realizes that the ball was caught.

There’s a reason why Roger Williams is one of the best pitching coaches in college baseball. And also why Louisville has had the success they’ve had. What I wouldn’t give to have him in blue and white.

He's still on my short list. Along with the Campbell coach.

Why is Waldschmidt swinging like he's hitting a home run? It has resulted in fly outs all day. They have them listed as line outs but they were only slightly less altitude than a pop fly.

Get the first two on, then line out, strike out, pop out.

Cotto's performance emblematic of a team that has given up for the evening. I suspect a quiet close to this game in the bottom of the 9th.

UofL is loaded with Kentucky kids. Does Mingeon not recruit Kentucky…disgraceful
