I thought that showed a horrible approach on the mound...
You have 2 outs AND 2 strikes on the hitter. Instead, you worry about the guy on first, make a throwing error to advance him and then give up a bomb. Yikes.

It seems to me that UK has an awful time when it comes to holding/managing the run game.
So Georgia’s starting pitcher is through 5 innings and is only 60 pitches in…….that’s what a Friday night SEC starter looks like.
On the other hand Stupp is approaching 85 pitches in the same time frame. Stupp is a good pitcher but he is not a Friday night guy.

It really is hilarious some of the fielding errors. Just like...."what the hell are we doing guys "
We had concerns about talent level coming into the season. Looks like a legitimate issue when looking at other SEC teams.
Lose tomorrow, may be out anyway. I said in another thread, start conference play 1-5, your uphill climb becomes a climb up Everest.

Well we spoke quite a bit about the talent level being brought in. If you recall, we were all skeptical. We might have been right.
Couple of things about that. UK struck out 11 times with zero walks. Ritter was hit by a pitch however. Speaking of Ritter. 0-3 tonight with two strikeouts.
Kentuckys 1-4 hitters?? 1-15 with 6 strikeouts and zero walks.
In 4 conference games, UK has struck out 43 times to 10 walks. Only have 25 hits and 8 runs.
Committed 9 errors and honestly should have at least two more.
Last thing I’m going to say for the night. Jeff Drummond had a harsh take on HOB on the state of the baseball program.
Thanks I will read it. To be honest pitching in the SEC last 3 games has been really good. But you can't score 6 runs in 3 games and beat anybody at any level
