A little love for WBB, who move to 6-4 with today's OT win. Playing much better now that everyone is healthy and the newcomers are getting adjusted.

Torvik has the 'Cats as #126 and last in the Big Ten for the whole season, but looking only since Thanksgiving, the 'Cats are 4-1 and ranked #81, 15th in the conference by efficiency and 10th by Wins Above Bubble.

Unfortunately the schedule makers didn't do us any favors, and we only get the worst teams once, all away (Wisconsin, Purdue, Rutgers). Meanwhile, we have a 10-game stretch from New Year's Eve through February 6th where each game is considered by Torvik to be "NCAA tournament" quality opposition.

Another solid win today though.

On a day when Lau (nice assists tho) and Walsh (nice rebounds tho) shot pretty badly (2of12 from 3), Daley and Sullivan turned in solid performances.

Consecutive good games for Mel. I like her game when she's on.

There was an earlier comment saying the early season defense looked disorganized. Defense has been the signature of Coach Joe. Looking better?
