I will , but they won't get all the answers to the data they won't get because l don't believe it's any of their business.

Going to over report how many people live here to try to help Texas keep up with Cali despite all the Californians moving here. Strange.

I suggest all conservatives do the same. If not Cali will have 80, 90, 100 seats in the House and EVs within 20 years.

Serious question - what is the punishment for over reporting residents in a dwelling?

As long as illegals are counted and that directly goes to HoR apportionnment (which are EV's) why wouldn't a strong conservative voice recommend over reporting in order to offset those illegals? Complete BS that they are counted.

I hear you Willy.

As of now it is one HoR seat for every 750k in population. We've seen estimate of 10+ million illegals in CA alone. That is roughly 14 seats or more importantly electoral votes. Illegals can't vote, that we know of, yet they have about a 2.5% say in the EC. Throw in NY and IL and you probably get to 30 seats that are Democrat because of illegal citizens.

thankfully senate doesn’t work the same way.

I wish they used the Census to round up illegals and throw them back to their countries. Make a sling shot that reaches every inch of the planet and fling them back where they come from. Can’t come legally and not some ******** asylum claim, get flunged.

500$

Although unless you reported an obscene number no one would ever check.

Yes, I think that is a wonderful idea to recommend we all break the law on the Census, conservatives, liberals, gay, straight, black, white, and latino. Whoever gets away with the most crime . . . wins!!! That is what made America great.

In fact, lets just go further and say any law that you disagree with, just break it with impunity.

Did it online in 5 minutes. Its a civic duty.

My wife worked in the 2010 Census, and was told by a former police officer, who had gotten a law degree, also married to a circuit judge (locals will probably know who I am talking about) - that he wasn't going to answer any questions or give any information to her because it was "Unconstitutional".

Well, actually, the Census IS in the Constitution, been doing one every ten years since 1790 or so.

Wow, the takes of some folks are . . . interesting to say the least.

We will put you down as being ok with non citizens, both legal and illegal, as having a big say in our electoral and law making process.

How about we all just agree to obey the law, including non citizens? Deal?
It's bigger than that. Imagine if our Founding Fathers had that attitude. You know what, George III is right and we are breaking the law.....

I understand why you can't commit to an answer. Thankfully there is a case in the system challenging this.

Why should KY lose a seat though? Because the CA population grew because of non citizens? That seems to be screwing over the citizens of KY.

- On second thought maybe the best way to challenge this is to come from a non citizens should have the right to vote angle. They already have a say so why shouldn't they have a vote?

To be clear, I think we need non citizens here to fill many jobs but don't think they should play a part in our govt processes.

I just finished mine. I reported 15,249 people living in my residence. Trying to stay ahead of Texas and Cali. Thanks for the tip.

Think I will say my 0 button must have been stuck after I report 10 million instead of 1. Or "I was hacked".

I dunno, just bored. Whoever Massie represents had to have voted him in. Everyone’s lord and savior Trump hates the guy, so maybe they don’t deserve a vote. Just spitballin’

I think there is a chance that KY could lose one. Seats per capita will go up after this census. Right now it is about 750K. If it goes up to 800......lets hope they round up.

On that point we agree, don't think too many reasonable people would disagree.

But we still need to count the population, wherever they come from, for any number of reasons besides just the electoral college and house representatives (although those are obviously important).

There has to be a way to separate it. Orange Man Bad tried, even though I know what he really wanted to accomplish.

We can't continue on the path of California having such a massive say because they are fine with illegals.

It will be interesting to see if their population goes up. Reports over the past few years have talked about the record number of people leaving.

^ Just so you know, daughter and son in law live in California, and it is a great place to visit, if you ask me.

I think you are correct that there is beginning to be some folks moving east to escape the high cost of living, Denver, Phoenix and Texas are getting a number of former Cali residents . . . of course, none of those areas are cheap either.

CA is beautiful and would be a great place to live.........if it wasn't so expensive and progressive.

In Texas we are getting lots from there and IL. Luckily, it seems most are Pubs. Our governor sends out tweets every few months - we are happy to have you here just don't bring your politics with you.
