Ivisic will be tough with another year in a college S&C program and maybe some food that doesn't make him s*** himself. We were weak inside last year, and all our front court, save Thiero, regularly got abused in the paint.

Bradshaw should see a similar improvement as a buckeye.

Garrison was more or less a grown-*** man coming out of high school – not unlike Cousins or Bam.

Williams IS a grown-*** man.

Our bigs were a weakness on D last year. Outside of Z, nobody could really score, either. There's no two ways around it. Interesting comparison.

There is no question that our physicality at Center should be greatly improved over last year.

It’ll will be interesting to see whether and to what extent Pope pulls his bigs into a distributing role at the high post like he did last year.

What's funny is Amari Williams stats were better as a Junior then a senior.

Junior stats
27.4 mpg 13.7 ppg 8.8 rpg 2.3 apg 2.2 bpg 1.4 spg I can see why he transferred. He also grew from 6-10 227 to 7-0 265. Him and Garrison are going to put up better stats than all 3 of our 7 footer's last year. I'm really excited about a rotation of Williams and Garrison this year.

Yes. I find it odd that Williams averaged less minutes per game (22.9) last year as a Senior and fourth year in the program.
It may well be that he was injured some during the year ...

Seeing as how his NIL deal stipulates that he dine on Tyson chicken at least once a day, that’s unlikely. 😁

His SR stats were better than his JR stats, he just played more minutes as a JR per game, making his stats look better.

Damn.. 2.4 TOs in 22 minutes for a center is.. not very good lol.

One thing to keep in mind, the whistle all these players get is only going to be worse at UK than wherever they were before.

I saw the guys from last season and let’s just say I wasn’t impressed at all. So, I’ll take AW/BG and be happy with them.

Damn. Ivisic really would've been a perfect fit if he stayed.

The whistle for Cal was horrific - refs hated him. Yet to be seen how it’ll be for Pope.
Pope might win them over with wife brownies or cookies. Do college refs have access to a hospitality room? I think I recall seeing where media members have a food spread, but not sure if that is available for the zebras too.

Curious to see how Williams’ game translates to the SEC.

Big difference between playing the post in the CAA and in the SEC.

Garrison played in the Big 12, so I think expecting similar production playing similar minutes, is not a reach.
