Sad seeing us sinking in the rankings at a time when we should be rising. We play #13 this week in Baylor, which won’t get us much in way of any street cred to pass any in front of us. Bah humbug.

Well I can't say I blame the committee for dropping us. We have regressed this year and are now playing our worst football. I'll be shocked if we win out.

My personal opinion is this was done for the sake of the committee setting themselves up to be able to include Bama in. Playing number 13 will not help us in the weeks to come.

Placing Bama 5th though proves this committee does not truly look at a teams body of work. It will never be a true playoff till all P5 conf champs are included. The human element needs to go away.

I would agree with that IF our defense was playing and getting better as the season goes. They are not and the offense is even getting kinda weird. I certainly wouldn't say we were underrated.

Oh I don’t believe we are underrated but he does make some very valid points one which the committee evidently doesnt look at like they say they do.

If we go 12-1, we'll have a decent chance to make the CFP, though I don't see us going 12-1.

We are losing key players. We're going to have a makeshift OLine this weekend, most likely. It's hard to move it on Baylor, even if you're full speed. We will have a hard time stopping Baylor. And the other night, we didn't move it very well after we had to rearrange the OL, and lost Sermon and likely were dealing with Stevenson being hurt. They wouldn't have put Pledger in the game for the first time on the last possession if Stevenson was healthy and Brooks needed a break.

We are incredibly depleted, Even more if Ealy can't play Saturday. No matter how good the Sooners are, if we don't have our best players, we aren't going to beat the beat other teams in the conference, and surely not the top four nationally.

After Bama lost to LSU and hearing all the talking heads saying Bama's schedule is weak and could hurt them then in the next breath had them in their top 4 teams lol.
No surprise the Committee has them right there in striking distance. Hopefully Auburn beats them and LSU wins the SECCG knocking Georgia out as well. If there are 2 one loss teams in the SEC when the dust settles there will be 2 SEC teams in the Playoffs. This system is a joke, go to 8 teams already and end this biased BS.

Can someone explain why UGA is #4 when they lost at home to South Carolina?! My Top 4 would be:
LSU
tOSU
Clemson
Oregon

Then
Bama
Minny
Baylor
OU
Utah
UGA

Dewey this looks about right with, perhaps the Utes one above OU. I'll puke if the ducks get in the final 4.

Agree mostly with Plaino, we must be beat up pretty bad although we will prevail Sat night. ISU is a tough team and as long as Campbell stays there it will keep getting tougher.

Minny plays at Iowa this week looking for their first win there in 20 years. I'll be cheering for the gophers. And for them to take down bucknuts in their CCG

Speaking of this committee, did anyone notice the look on Chairman Mullens face before answering the question in regard to OU and Baylors ranking. It was like “ **** how do I spin this with Bama at 5.”. Especially when it came to explaining body of work.

That wasn’t the best part though. It was watching Finebaum accuse the committee of bias and buddy voting if Oregon got in over Bama. He all but accused the committee of foul play in this. Guess he forgot all the special things given to Bama in the past.

He is the fools fool...Finebaum is butt hurt if something iun-SEC comes along. Oregon should have jumped Bama. Tua was limping bad after the LSewer game. Certainly things may turn against Tide if he goes out.

Its nice to see people like Brando having the guts to actually attack this committee and challenge the rankings. He is correct when saying this system is corrupted. We need more well known journalist like him to do this.

In just google searching and typing in “Is the college football committee corrupt”. You can find some great articles from years past where people had no problem attacking the selection process. So many of these articles are spot on.
