He is not happy. Pretty much went on a bitching tirade

Yeah, Nick doesn’t like the “lesser” conference champions getting a first round bye because they don’t play stiffer competition game in and game out during the regular season. Someone mentioned TCU getting crushed by Georgia in 2023 and Saban said “that’s what I’m talking about”.

Easy solution, B10 and SEC break away and create its own super division. Then Nick and company can quit bitching and crying about a system that has given Bama multiple mulligans over the years going back to the BCS.

Didn’t go his way for his old team so he gets his feelings hurt. Saben continues to be a hypocrite and is constantly changing his views based on whats best for Bama year to year.

ESPN is no different.

He didn’t like the TCU pick but they had to beat one of the top 4 to get to the finals. I haven’t checked but I’m guessing Bama wasn’t one of the four.

TCU beat Michigan in the seni’s that year. Forgot who UGA beat. Just checked UGA beat Ohio St 42-41
Well, if Saban thought TCU shouldn’t have been a top 4, I guess he didn’t think Michigan shouldn’t have either. Just pissed that TCU (12-0) was picked over his 10-2 SEC Bama team. I guess the undefeated B12 Champion wasn’t worthy.

When it comes to Saben nobody outside Bama and the SEC are worthy. Problem is the BCS ( Human AP / Coaches) kissed his *** just like the committe has. Thank goodness the committee this year had the balls to exclude them.

Now the SEC commisher is even in full ***** mode which I am having fun watching the crying and bitching. Saben thinks Bama is entitled.

I agree with everything you posted, but the SOB was a great football coach who just happened to be an *******. But he’s not the first or the last.

ESPN and the SEC Fans and Coaches have pushed the SEC Narrative for yrs that the Almighty SEC is Superior to all others from top to bottom. Reminds me of how the Mainstream Media pushes their agenda day in and day out. You repeat it enough some people will start to believe it.
They could put 12 teams in the playoffs and not a single SEC fan would be upset about it except the 4 teams that didn't make it so they would ***** and whine to expand it to 16 teams so they could all get in.

I am ok with how the playoffs were done this yr and glad they left out Bama. If anyone should have a gripe it should probably be Oregon, ranked number 1 for quite a few weeks, won their CCG and are undefeated yet Penn State gets rewarded with an easier path. But at the end of the day, if you aint good enough to win your playoff games that are in front of you then thats too bad.
Bottom line is they will never make everyone happy but Bama, Ole Miss and South Carolina have only themselves to blame. Bama and Ole Miss both lost games they should have won and had they taken care of business and each had only 2 losses they probably would have both gotten in. At least we know Bama would have.
OU isn't in it so I really couldn't care less about the others. Hopefully one of the so called "Lesser Teams" from one of those "Lesser Conferences" wins it all and shuts them all up. That would be funny.

If Ariz St, Boise or SMU wins it all I can already see ESPN and that gameday crew making excuses for the B10 and SEC.

I admit, they likely won’t win it all but I am pulling for anyone not in the Big 2 conferences. Go Clemson beat Texas.
