Making the last minute call to take my family of 4 to Omaha for Sat and maybe Sunday. Will end up secondary market - what are good seats/sections and which ones should I avoid (all okies or poor views )?

Use viewfrommyseat (hyperlinked), to get better images. Sometimes there are notes too.

I was told you want to be between the bases if you can (obviously more expensive). I also noticed if you get down the line though that there aren’t bad prices for the 200 level which appears to be considered “club” and have an air conditioned concourse

Shade is first on the first base side although Sat will mostly be in the shade given start time. Try to avoid the Outfield seats if you can.

Any one sat in the 200 level? Even though it’s club, are you still involved in the atmosphere? Or is it better to be in the 100s?

This. Saturday evening should be fine, but Sunday could be hot. After a couple of trips out there, I became really partial to shade. As mentioned, that’s mostly going to be on the 1B side in the top 1/3 of roughly sections 112-103. In the upper deck, the shelter only goes around to about section 205. 200-level seats aren’t bad, but to get shade you might need to be higher than you want. Not sure, there. If you have to get outfield seats, there can be a little bit of shade at times at the top of sections 134 and 135. (Comes at an angle in the afternoon.). Regardless, I prefer that section of outfield, if not able to get along the foul lines or in a UNC section. Also not looking into the sun as bad toward late afternoon.

For anyone sensitive to sun:
  • Saturday evening most of the first base line will be in the shade given the 7 pm start (virtually all seats). Disadvantage is this first base side is the visitor side, while we are home team on Saturday.
  • With the 1:30 pm start on Sunday, the only shaded seats are the ones that are under the overhang, which sounds like the upper ~10 rows (row 25+) of the lower level, still along first base. As a bonus on Sunday, we'll be the visiting team so this is our section.
