Charles Tapper may have made himself a little money at the combine.

He ran 4.59 unofficially. It was the fastest time of any lineman. Still, the talking heads gave him little credit. I suspect the GM's might have a little different view.

The average time for all the wides at the combine was 4.57 I believe. So he outran half of them.

4.80 and 4.84 for Striker
4.70 for Bond
Alexander didn't run, which is a bit disappointing. Thought he had a chance to create some buzz for himself.

If there bad been a pool a week ago about which of our front 7 guys would have run the fastest 40, I doubt many would have taken Tap.

I knew Tapper was agile for a big man but I never would have guessed he would be that much faster than Striker. Heck, he wasn't too far behind Shepard.

Could have done what Baylor did and put the big guy in as a TE, Not many LB could have covered him

Tapper running down the Bama WR in the Sugar Bowl was impressive....not so much for catching the WR as he stumbled a bit. But Tapper was pulling away from our DBs with each stride.
