A pleasant reminder of how good all college basketball players are. Charlie is a walk on who barely ever sees the court...but can absolutely dominate “regular people” like it’s nothing.

In the 80s when I attended, I would argue that some of the intramural players may have even been better than some of the players on the team. But we had some terribad teams back then...

Ya a couple intramural legends when I was at NU did walk on to some horrible mid-90s teams and they still were nowhere near as good as the scholarship guys.

D'Wayne Bates definitely was better than some of the scholarship hoops players on the SPAC courts when they played on the same pickup teams.

Bates is also one of the greatest athletes in NU history. Napo is another guy who outplayed some scholarship guys just based on raw athleticism and heart.
