Charlie Watts RIP

RIP to long term Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts. He was not the original drummer, but joined the band in 63 before they hit it big. I saw the Stones at Yankee Stadium on the Steel Wheels tour. My favorite Stones era was the Tattoo You years, as Start Me Up was the song that got me into them. This is a big one.

Glad that he didn't suffer too long. He announced recently that he would not be able to tour this year. He always looked old

It is remarkable that so many of the rock stars from the '60s and '70s lasted so long and toured into this decade. When Greg Allman died it was the end of an era for me. I'm glad we got to see these guys perform as long as we did.
