Chase joins Grayson and Amile on All-ACC Academic Team

Good to see Chase doing well in his classes and that Grayson and Amile are keeping it up as well.

Who would have guessed a "punk" like Grayson cared about something besides himself? What a year this kid is having, couldn't be more proud of him. This award always means a great deal to me, especially since we are Duke.

Hoping Grayson's court intelligence becomes equal to his academic intelligence. I believe he has gotten his stuff together now. OFC

I saw a post from one of the Duke Facebook pages about Amile, Grayson and Chass making the All-ACC Academic team and it said that Duke has had 91 players make the All-ACC Acedemic Team all time and and Duke has had at least 1 player make the All-ACC Academic Team for 22 years straight. Surprisingly UNC is second on the list with 57 all time.

Diehard that is kind of the point. UNC is supposed to be a great, not good public university and UNC claims to have such upstanding athletic programs. Other schools, while maybe having very good academics in certain departments, never claim to be so self righteous in their athletic programs.

After all his classroom behaviors, Grayson deserves an elbow macaroni & cheese to the face. The mouth part of the face. So he can eat it. Homemade elbow mac & cheese, with several different cheese varieties.

Amile has been Academic All-ACC all four years. No Duke player has ever done that....including a guy named Shane Battier. What Amile has just accomplished is no small feat.
