No one on the team averages more than 1.6 steals per game. WVU may be a shock to Kent State.
They are in first place in the Mid-American Conference. But they won’t be in Ohio when they show up at WVU Coliseum. It could be culture shock for them.
My most memorable memories of Kent State are when the Ohio National Guard slaughtered four students and wounded nine others because Governor Jim Rhodes hoped it would help him get elected Senator. It didn’t.
And my 16 years with Paula, a Kent State graduate, who was pregnant and NOT a demonstrator but a reporter when the National Guard opened fire 30 yards from her.
