All the local sport writers suggesting Card fans should cheer for kitty victories and enter PJCS 8-3 for the season finale are barking up an empty tree with me! No way in hell do I root for them, here's hoping they come in 5-6 fresh off a Austin Peay beat down (not holding my breath).

I'd rather qualify for the Toy Bowl for a date with St. Martha or Holy Spirit than cheer for those bastards. If that's what it takes, kiss the playoff goodbye. Never!

No true homer fan of either team could ever cheer for the other. I personally would prefer to eat broken slivers of glass than to EVER cheer for UofK in any sport. I just can't bring myself to do that. Ever.

I have 3 favorite teams. My favorite is UofL. My second favorite is WKU. My 3rd favorite is whoever is playing UofK. That's never going to change.

They are currently my 11th favorite team!

1. UofL (of course)
2. Syracuse (they are playing Clemson, and we need Clemson to lose twice to have a chance to win the ACC)
3T. FSU, NC State, Virginia, Duke, and Wake Forest
8. Houston
9. Marshall
10. Charlotte
11. Kentucky

Wins by all of those teams on the list help our strength of schedule (and therefore our cause) immensely. I care only about UofL and am willing even to root for UK if it helps us win a national championship.

I want them to win just enough to keep Stoops employed. For the next 20 years. If that means 4, 5 or 6 wins a year so be it.

Charlotte has a chance to become Bowl eligible and I don't see Marshall winning another game.

I spend 100% of my time rooting for Louisville. That leaves me with 0% for everyone else. Sorry Kentucky.

I seriously don't believe us beating a uk bowl eligible. pitiful sec team, is enough to push us into the national championship picture. I am with Mike's Marbles, all my energy goes into cheering for my team. Unless we are playing them I pay zero attention to uk.

Let's face it. If UK wins all of their games up to the Louisville game their best win will be against a mediocre-at-best Tennessee team. Beating that UK team won't be enough to move us into playoff consideration without Washington losing at least two; Texas A&M losing one; and Michigan losing two or OSU losing to Michigan. If all three of those things happen and the Cards win out impressively UofL will be in the playoffs regardless of whether they beat up on a 6-5 UK or an 8-3 UK.

So no, I will not pull for Kentucky.

Frankly I would suggest to just stop all comparisons/relevance keep beating them into frustration when it comes up; whatever comparison with an under performing team is made is kind of silly. Pick someone else to aspire to which is what I perceive this to be for football.

I'm for whatever helps us. Louisville first, period. If UK winning helps us, so be it.

The saddest part of that article was the guy who videoed his daughter accidentally cheering for
UK sold out to the hack CJ writer and said he would pull for UK which made IMO Card fans look like they could be bought out if you put their name in the paper. Shame.
