I'm wondering why we haven't heard anything about "halftime adjustments" from the Huggins haters? Interesting after last night. Figure they'd be all up in arms over his adjustments that he never makes.....[winking]
So they come out and have a great 2nd half and you give credit to Huggins. Ok, fine.
When they get blown out in the 2nd half like they have numerous times it's because the players didn't execute.
Coaching at WVU is a pretty sweet gig if you're a WVU alum. You get all the credit for success and none of the blame for failures.

I didn't get a chance to watch or follow the game. It's a win, but against the worst team in the conference this year, the outcome should be expected. Looks like a good recovery in the second half. That being said, not a great first half to give up 33. Like I said, not sure of game flow or situations with fouls, but it's not super disheartening or encouraging to me
The best half time adjustments are when the players finally starting hitting shots, stop making bad fouls, stop turning the ball over, start finding their place in the help side, and take their heads out of their asses.
Its usually not an x and o's issue.
Sometimes a lineup change certainly helps. Which Huggins definitely does.
Are you serious Clark? That is the most asinine comment to this decade. Blown out numerous times? I saw 2 blowouts at Baylor and KSU. The other 6 losses were piss poor play and shooting but far from blowouts. They did give those games away and that's fact.
A coach is never given enough credit for wins or enough blame for losses. You came on here ripping him a new one for the losing streak but want nothing to do with giving him credit for adjustments that you yourself were screaming about. Will these changes work the rest of the way? Who knows. I guess we will find out.
Since when is giving up 33 not a great first half. Oklahoma State is not the worse team in the conference. That is KSU and ISU. Oklahoma State came in winning 3 of last 5 and a chance to beat Baylor and blew a 15 point lead in the last 10 minutes. They had just come off a victory over Texas Tech as well.
Huggins did what everyone was yelling about. Changed the starting line up shortened the bench and rotations let the players have a short leash and people are still not happy.
There are only 2 teams in the Big 12 this year that are worth a **** and that's KU and Baylor. The rest are just there.
Nobody is talking trash but you. Oklahoma State is not the worst team in the conference. Not far from it but not the worst. They were the hottest team coming in with 3 wins in last 5 and beat Texas Tech before our game.

The second Ok St game was really no different than the first. We beat them by 14 there and 18 here.
We never really trailed there. So you could say we played better. And that was one of Knapper’s better games.
McBride wasn’t great in either. He shot like crap in the second one and had 2 turnovers to 1 assist.
Culver and Oscar went for a combined 20/20 in the first game.
All in all you can’t say the second game was any better than the first. And the first half of the second game was BY FAR the worst.

So, second worst team. At least by league standings. Either way, it was a home game against a bad team which is why I don't really see how I can judge much from it. I'm not down, but at the same time I'm not up as WVU has dominated lesser competition at home on more than one outing. WVU's only conference win on the road is against the same OSU that does not match up well with WVU. I'd say just managing a win against Texas and TCU on the road would go much further into showing if the team has improved from the before the losing streak to now as compared to any degree of beating OSU at home.

Definitely in the field and 5 or better seed most likely. Can't just be a tournament level team at home no matter what the seed though. Otherwise it's likely to be a short dance.
Didn't say it would be long. My expectation were not that high to begin with this season. But tournament games are on neutral floors. WVU 3-0 neutral games.
True, but technically the Big 12 tournament is on a neutral floor and I've been there against Kansas and ISU. Not neutral by any stretch.
