Now that the coaching staff is complete, what are your initial thoughts and observations on this staffs composition, chemistry, pedigree, connections in comparison to previous staffs in terms of their ability to recruit difference makers and win on the field. Additionally, how would you rate this staff as far as the job they have done so far keeping and gaining recruits to close out this cycle? Thanks!

There hasn't been much time to be around them yet, so hard to give a good answer, but Coach Monty has put together a good balance of experience and youth. As far as connections, that's the really strong part. Bill Young is incredibly well connected in Oklahoma, as well as Texas, and then tons of these guys have strong ties throughout Texas. There are also some Louisiana and Kansas connections, especially Kansas jucos.

I'll be able to answer this better after signing day, but this staff is doing a solid job in its short time. The first two commitments were 4-star QB Chad President and then reeling McKinley Whitfield back in -- those are two of the highest recruited members of the class.

It appears they quickly identified needs (especially LB, DB) and got after it quickly. Yesterday was impressive with 4 commitments, flipping 2 from other schools.
