People always make a big thing of Wisconsin's traditionally huge home court advantage, but CC has only lost once at the Kohl Center (2014-15).

The most interesting matchup in the game may be Wisconsin's three-point shooting (#11 in the country at 39.5%) vs. Northwestern's three-point defense (#8 in the country at 27.7%). Since we are offensively challenged and Wisconsin has a very good defense (#9 in the country), we are going to have to win that battle and keep the score relatively low.

I am hoping for the best. Those three close losses in December continue to haunt us, but we need to move beyond them and score a big win on the road.

Note: The home Indiana win looks less and less impressive now that the Hoosiers have lost 6 straight and trail us in the B1G standings. BTW, did you see IU start out trailing 0-17 against Michigan at home last night and not get its first field go until 10 minutes in the first half? Woof.

I watched that game. What struck me was how good the crowd was. When I got to within about 12 in the first half the place was rocking Then when they cut the lead to 9 in the second half it was really loud. Give IU fans credit, they tried their best to support their team.

Michigan didn't play their "A game" yet won going away. Morgan played very well, probably the best player on the floor from either team. They will miss him next year. Archie has a mess on his hands. His wife cannot be happy!

In their six-game losing streak, Indiana played five top-20 KenPom teams and then us. They can still pull it together and get to the tournament (and keep our win a quality one).

Thanks for the stat, OP.

For years, I always pegged that Wisconsin game as a winnable one. For years, it was Blowout City.

I had finally given up. This reminder gives me hope.

Do it, Cats!

+1,000,000. And any bad momentum can be a killer when you are playing this type of a murderer's row of a schedule.
