I noticed this as I received my booster shot yesterday and am feeling no side effects. Hinton quoted - too bad he didn’t want to be a Cat:

As others spoke to the media on Tuesday, the message was the same: No one wants to squander this type of opportunity.

"My parents always told me when I was young, when you want something that's different, you have to make sacrifices," defensive tackle Christopher Hinton said. "As a team, we're in a position that only four teams in the country are in, and we have to make sacrifices. That's do something different on the weekend, wear a mask around the building.

"So, we for sure have to be cautious about COVID, with it being on the rise, so we have everybody strong for Dec. 31, New Year's Eve."

Meantime, I saw at least one GA guy tested positive. Just what Mich needs to slither into the NC game, the other team to have an outbreak.

SEC! SEC!

I will never forget Tennessee fans chanting that at the Citrus Bowl. Who the hell chants for the conference instead of the team?

People who are really proud of the teams that kick their *** every year.

Vandy fans did it after we Persa’d them in 2010, too.

Not dying of covid?
Let’s be real here. Chances of dying of Covid for a NCAA football player are about the same as being struck by lightening. I’m boosted but to say they run the risk of dying is not rooted in facts or reality.

Pathetic fan bases whose primary claim to fame is being in the same conference with 3-4 elite programs.

They might have to sequester the teams. Texas A&M withdrew from the Gator Bowl due to Covid issues.

A few years back FloridAlum began a “Legends!” “Leaders!” chant at a bowl game, but after 90 minutes got pretty tired from running back and forth from two portions of the NU section doing all of that cheering solo, since no one else joined in.

I didn't say or imply that NCAA football player ran the risk of dying. I was responding to what I interpreted to be Wrassler (NREPP) wondering about the side effects of the covid vaccine.

The cynic in me does not believe 100+ "Michigan Men" don't have a few Proud Boys who will fake it or fly under the radar, but whatever. Either way the public statement they're making here is pretty cool, and they deserve credit for it while idiots in College Station, TX stand by their liberties and talk down about how the Gator Bowl doesn't matter anyway.

Now Cook County is going to require vaccines to go into restaurants and bars! Total chaos!
Haves and Have Nots!

I have a nostalgic belief in rugged individualism, but above all it is about individual choices, and the personal responsibility that comes with making good choices. With the exception of perhaps 5% of people, the choice to get vaccinated should be an obvious one. But like I always, there is no shortage of dumb in this world.
