It's obvious we aren't getting any of the top talent.
I know why you have to out out these articles, but for us after your comments inside the recruitment of stars and the JMI issues it just seems like who cares because we won’t get them anyway now. Sad days.
Our recruiting season is when the portal opens up in the off-season. And then, it comes down to Jaland Lowe types. Not Lamar Wilkerson or Yaxel types. So even that is downgraded.

Yeah there’s a serious problem when Vandy starts beating our *** in football, taking our recruits in basketball and just doing better over in basketball than UK. They were one of the worst football and basketball programs in the country just a couple years ago and now both are top 15 team.Gotta love seeing Vandy moving in on both Collins and Stokes.
Amazing what you can do in recruiting when you don’t have an anchor known as JMI around your neck.
People seem to be flipflopping back and forth between blaming Pope for being a poor recruiter, and JMI for not being something that recuits want to do business with. Why not settle this **** once and for all, and have Pope TELL US whether it's HIM or JMI?

Ill say it again: months ago I started warning people vandy was getting heavy into athletics and nil. No one wanted to hear it.
They're going to be formidable in the nil arena.
Who's the highest paid kid on Vandy's BB roster?
Vandy's best player from last year hit the portal so they basically have a local kid(Tanner), some guys Byington brought with him and a few decent portal pickups.
No high profile (1M+) portal additions or any HS AA additions.
So I guess credit goes to the coach and the kids who are overachieving.

This would be a nice opportunity for JMI and Mitch to figure out their method and land this guy.
