Obviously, he is the most hated by not just UK fans, so give the devil his due. What player did you hate in your career of watching college basketball?

Miles Simon(I get sick every time this yr we see not just laetners shot but they throw in "simon says championship")
Wojo (earned for guilt by association, that includes all Duke players)
Tyler hasnbrough(sp? Don't care) the guy always got away with a foul or charge every game
Peyton siva and his 70 yr career at ul

Just a random few, what do you have?

Noah from UF - Couldn't stand him. Biggest punk to come through in decades. (Don't mind him now as a pro, though. I actually like his game)
J.J. Reddick - The ESPN slurpfest was too much
Tyler Hansbrough - See above
Montrezz Harrell - Too much "look at me" for my tastes
Luke Hancock - Serial flopper who couldn't create a shot without clearing out with his off hand.

And from my childhood:

Robert Horry - Always got testy when he played against the Cats

Oh you must be talking about the one and only Aaron Kraft. I think his freshman year began with the great depression and ended when Obama took office. Texas had one of those guys as well I'm wanting to say balbay?

I don't hate any player so that's not the word I would use. It's just a sport. With that said I could not stand the big man from Tennessee years back has to be on the list. Not Stokes. I believe he played with Tony Harris. Can't think of his name.

*Ron Slay. Funny how you can remember things after you say you can't remember.

See Alex come in, pull the chair away, and stuff his weak shi☆ was such a satisfying moment for me as a fan of UK and honorable basketball.

In recent times, Hancock and Noah, in that order.

I will give Hancock some credit for the fantastic second half he had against us in the tourney last year. I'm sure Luke is a great guy, but I hated his game. I told my buddy after we beat them last year, that the best thing about that win was that I never had to watch Luke Hancock play again.

Noah is on my fantasy NBA team, so I hated him at Florida, but I liked his game.

Wojo for his constant flopping and crying.

Jay Williams because he was allowed to play by a different set of rules and got praised. His body check "steals" in the title game against Arizona were a joke.

Also, Tyler Hansborough. He could drop his shoulder and charge in over and over like a lineman to get to the goal. Then after he missed, there was a foul called to send him to the line.

Adrian Dantley - guy took more free throws than anyone I ever saw in college until J.J. Redick

Bill Laimbeer - dirty player

Kelly Tripucka - ugly

Kenny Higgs - punk

Mike Gminski - first Duke player that most UK fans disliked
John Kuester

Ernie Grunfeld from Tennessee, he was the type when you watched him he didn't impress with athletic ability, but he would beat your butt! Was glad to see him leave, and his friend Bernie too!!!

Venardo (sp) always made me so mad. I can't recall a single one of his blocks he made without boosting himself up by putting his hand on the shoulder of the shooter. Been several years since he played but still gets my blood boil when I think of him and his accolades for defense.

Two funny spins to this thread...

Which of the above players would you change your mind about if they had played for UK? For example, I absolutely loathe J. Noah, but I gotta admit, if had played for UK, he might be an all-time personal favorite. I tend to like firie showboats at times.

Second, who would be opposing fans least favorite UK players? I could see guys like Rex, Ford, Prince, Wall, Cousins topping others all-hate lists. Probably because they're among my favorites! Rex "was" that is.

^ lol this is true. Had cousins gone to Memphis I would of not liked him too much. It's funny how we as fans over look guys we couldn't stand. I haven't seen one Marcus camby and he beat us and very few (if any) former cal players. He was a rival especially in the final four for payback while he cashed his paychecks. They all get a "pass" and grandfathered in since cal coached them. Will anyone dare go against the grain?

Barkley was my first thought, couldn't stand him in college. I remember laughing my rear end off when Sky Walker and the boys left him crying on the floor in his last SEC tourney. Now I like the guy and feel a little bad about it, but just a little.

To the previous post, why would you hate Camby? He was just a good player, I don't hate players just because they beat us - especially when we get them back in the Final Four.
