So -- are any of my fellow Rupp Rafter posters here also members of Christians Against Dinosaurs (CAD) and helping to fight the good fight against the accursed Dinophiles who are ruining our society with their damnable Big Paleo lies? I'm just curious if there's anyone else here who's fortunate enough to be a part of the movement. šŸ˜Ž

That's a thing? I mean, I'm a Christian(not perfect so don't @me anyone), and I'm pretty sure if God wants dinosaurs, he can make them, so who am I to argue against them lol.

Unlike dinosaurs, Christians Against Dinosaurs is quite real. It's quite active, too: CAD recently tried to get a statue of a T-rex at a McDonald's taken down (because displaying a dinosaur statue at a kids' restaurant is blatant indoctrination), but unfortunately the owners refuse to comply (like so many others, they're obviously in the pocket of Big Paleo).

Christianity and science are not mutually exclusive. Crap like this is why religion has become the butt of jokes.
This. I feel like science is man simply discovering/uncovering/understanding the forces God has put into place.

Too many people get hung up on literal aspects of things. Especially with religion. Im nowhere close to where I need to be, but I think that guy Jesus had a pretty good plan on how you ought to act and conduct yourself/treat other people.

I find it laughable that we’ve had so many scientific discoveries and advancements over the last 350 years, yet so many still deny science and cling to ancient fiction and superstition.

People are mostly emotional beings, ruled by the flesh, whether religious or not. Almost all who subscribe to ā€œscienceā€œ only do so when convenient and distort its discoveries to match their preconceived ā€œintuitionā€.

I work mostly with agnostic STEM PhDs, I see here just as little willingness to confront hard truths and logical faults within theirselves as any other group. The only difference is their ā€œsuperstitionsā€ are more complex self-justifications.

I am really tired of Ronald The Clown's 🤔 Propoganda.

The wife, The Toddler and I are currently driving from Texas to Kentucky so we felt like splurging and hit the Drive Thru. I got the Nugget Happy meal for my little girl and what do I see? One of these Fake Dinosaurs on the Box and some Fake Dinosaur action figure on the inside.

I need to find out how to join this club. It is long overdue.

We need to get this clown 🤔 to stop with his promotion of these fake creatures. And tell him to stop with the Beanie Babies also. No babies are made of Beans.

GBB.

Right. Science seeks to explain the natural world while religion covers the supernatural one.

My favorite is when someone says they believe in ghosts and psychics but dismiss Christianity as an ancient superstition that only an uneducated simpleton would still believe in.

I completely agree. Most evangelicals today think the big bang theory is sacrilege but it was first proposed by a Belgian priest and was considered religious gobbledygook for years. I absolutely will not mention anything science related at church.

Why do you say that? Politics and science has now become mutually exclusive in America, why not throw religion into the mix as well?

Because they are looking at things from a completely different perspective.

To use a bad analogy, it would be like one person standing behind an elephant describing its tail while someone else is in front describing its head. They're both talking about the elephant, but if you were blind you'd think they were describing different animals.

IMO, science doesn't negate religion (and Christianity in particular), it enhances it and is a gift from God to help us better understand His creation.

Who else is down to burn dinosaur world in cave City?

Never. Christians Against Dinosaurs is a completely non-violent organization. Don't let the Dinophile-dominated media tell you otherwise. They're the one pushing violence by indoctrinating our children with bloody dinosaur-themed movies like Jurassic Park and Carnosaur and dinosaur-based toys that glorify war like Transformers Dinobots.

For example just look at this Transformer, "Grimlock".

Not only does this "hero" (who's always angry and combative) come with a red sword and a gigantic gun, look at what he transforms into!

Nothing but violence and lies! And people actually wonder why our country's in the sad shape that it's in. :(

At CAD, on the other hand, we stand for truth and peace. :)

I was trying to be funny and sarcastic at the same. Trust me, I am with you 100%

All joking aside -- I know at least (at least) a dozen people who'll proudly shout to the sky that they're atheists, and yet they all think that Somerset's International Paranormal Museum and Research Center, a shrine to pseudoscience that's dedicated to "ghosts, Bigfoot, aliens, psychics, and anything that goes bump in the night!", is just the bee's knees. It's maddening.

Me. I am good now, while back in Kentucky this summer I took my daughter to Mammoth Cave and Dinosaur World something she wanted to see so, marked that off her list. BURN IT DOWN!

Most people don't think things through before opening their mouths.

Being an atheist requires a level of faith I'm not capable of.

I assure you that 99.998% of atheists in this world have never heard of Paranormal Museum and Research Center in Somerset.
