The obvious Christmas movies have been voted on but how about the ones that didn't make the cut. I'll start with one of my favorites, Christmas in Connecticut. I still find it hilarious and we watch it every season. Plus, to me a young Barbara Stanwyck is/was hot. I could name many more but I'm not going to be one of those posters that list 10-20 and leave nothing for anybody else.

Love Actually, Fred Claus, Office Christmas Party.. top of my head those 3. And I'd have included them in the actual tournament over some others.

Overview
A young boy named Pietari (Onni Tommila) and his friend Juuso (Ilmari Järvenpää) think a secret mountain drilling project near their home in northern Finland has uncovered the tomb of Santa Claus. However, this a monstrous, evil Santa, much unlike the cheery St. Nick of legend. When Pietari's father (Jorma Tommila) captures a feral old man (Peeter Jakobi) in his wolf trap, the man may hold the key to why reindeer are being slaughtered and children are disappearing.

Really weird but entertaining movie. Beware if watching with family that there is some nudity and it’s definitely not the good kind.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

This is actually better than the one that's going to win in the poll overall.

Christmas in Connecticut is a great movie. One of my staples along with Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life and a couple others I’m not recalling.

My rankings:

1) The Family Man
2) The Night Before
3) Just Friends
4)Office Christmas Party
5) Daddy’s Home 2

I’m also assuming Four Christmases is on the list but if it wasn’t on the original (sacrilege!) then that shoots to the top

Four Christmases for sure. And I forgot about Just Friends. Another classic.

I have to admit. I'm not up on newer Christmas movies. I've watched Four Christmases and The Family Man and enjoyed them both. One movie that really sucked was Mixed Nuts. Steve Martin's worst. Yeah really not that new but to me they are. Old man.

Some movies that haven't been mentioned:

The Bishop's Wife
One Magic Christmas
The Homecoming (The Walton's pilot)
The Shop Around the Corner
Remember the Night

Also, Star in the Night if you can find it. Short film that won an Academy back in the 30s. Excellent.

I didn't see all the playoff movies so I don't know if Christmas with the Kranks was mentioned but it isn't to bad.

Fatman was interesting as well.

8-Bit Christmas is definitely NIT worthy. Good flick to watch with your kids. Kind of in the same vein as A Christmas Story but with Nintendo replacing the Red Ryder BB gun. If you are an ‘80’s kid like me then you will enjoy.

8 Crazy Nights is an underrated christmas flick.

Adam Sandlers mileage will vary for some, and this movie isn't gonna win any awards.. but its got some classic humor from that SNL era, some pretty good animation and set pieces, a lot of Sandler cast mates, some surprisingly solid music numbers, and making fun of other cultures..

Its legit. It's good. Maybe it's great. If Christmas Story is an elite classic, I'm ready to say "8 crazy nights" is a yearly watch.
