tuned into this game toward the end and the Iowa center was mentioned to be potential first rounder in NFL draft, and was playing - so did not opt out even though he has day one draft potential. they mentioned that this guy got hurt in the game and came back in later. kind of the opposite of a lot of people. I did not hear how many Iowa players opted out, but this guys is one of their stars.

And, then you have the Q for Ole Miss. if I’m not mistaken, announcers said he was 1st or 2nd Q to be drafted.
Hobbling on crutches now.

How’s that high draft working out for Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen? Drafting is a crap shoot too depending upon the team, their coaching staff, and team make up. So it all winds down to $$$ for a possible short, injury riddled, maybe even dementia causing career. Everyone in the NFL is Alabama or higher quality, everyone.

Does anyone have a stat on how many career ending injuries over the past 3 weeks? 34 bowl games played, there’s got to be a ton, right?
