People claim that UK has taken the lead but others say that he isn't talking. All speculation at this point and time.

They say. Because they talk to those around him at it makes sense because of Nike it's Kentucky or Arkansas

Kentucky will help him get better. From what I can tell is he wants to bully his way in the lane but it won’t work in college. If he truly doesn’t wanna duck the smoke then we are the best option. Not just playing Puke or whoever but in practice some of the best defenders to go against is at UK.

I would be much more excited if he hadn't used the exact same words that UL's pat kelsey had spoke in the few weeks prior. "Ducking smoke" i believe was the term. Not to mention they were acc schools he specifically mentioned as wanted competition.

Pope said those words he said em before Kelsey he didn't mean those two schools he meant tough teams ,Louisville is third in this right now I'm more worried about Arkansas they are making surge we have the lead but we'll have to hold Cal off

I don’t think we’ll be getting a load of transfers next season. I’d say some major talent will return. Borderline RD1 guys like Jasper. Lowe and Kam. Several more. Moreno could be a breakout star. But this class need to be where Pope acts stupid and brings in like Stokes. Rippey. Holt and Maximo Adams and bring in A major transfer C to pencil right in and a couple young kids. Chandler prolly transfers.

I think Oregon is probably in the top 3. Nike kid, and Nike would probably jump at the chance to give the kid "incentive" outside of traditional NIL to play in their backyard. Could probably say the same thing, to a lesser degree, for Gonzaga. I know UL is home for his family, but I think the Adidas schools have a massive uphill climb trying to get Stokes. Outside looking in I think it's probably UK, Arkansas, Oregon, Gonzaga, UoL in that order currently, with things fluid and changing every week.

I mean maybe he takes a big step. Maybe he becomes something like a Ritchie Saunders. But imo he’s the odd man out this year. Say Jasper. Kam. Jelevic and either BG or MM come off the bench to start the year. Who’s that 10th man ? Chandler or Noah ? Then add in the fact we’re high on several top 20-30 players in the 26 class. Most being guards. And the fact Jasper. Lowe both could return. He’s being recruited over. But hell I may be wrong and he’s better than just the 10th or 11th guy. Like you said. We haven’t played a game yet. Maybe he’s even better than Aberdeen lol. Idk. We’ll see. But if we have Rippey coming in. Maybe even Smith or Holt. Along with Jasper and Lowe coming back. Where’s he gonna fit in ? Again. Baring a breakout year.

With Pope going so hard after so many big time 26 recruits. Several guys are being recruited over fr. I could see any of Hawthorne. Chandler. BG leaving. Itd be nice to have Chandler as the 3rd guy at the 2 and get some mins in 3 G lineups but idk. I’m just ready to see what we have. Countdown is on baby 🤜🤛 💯

But yeah. I’m HUGE on Thompson bro. I think he’ll end up a top 5 player in the class and a top 5 pick in the draft and a major impact player in college. That size. Shooting/scoring ability is unreal

Agree. I love Thompson. But we’re in on several big time SF/Wings in the class. Cloer. Maximo. Howard. Tbh I think Maximo could end up being one of the best. Most impactful players in the class. He’s got similar ability’s as far as size. Shooting. But Thompson is my 1.

You are wrong. All of the scenarios you posted above are what if? And most are of kids who may or may not be here. While Chandler would be in his 3rd year under Coach Pope. I believe the kid is ready for a break out season and its not like he didn't have talent coming out of high school. He has overcome both the long lay off and the learning curve of high level D1 and Coach Pope's offense, while many you mentioned above (Kam, JJ, Jelevik, etc.) haven't. Aberdeen I can see. Plus, the rest of your examples are maybes. I think I'm going to place my faith in kids who are here rather than hoping for high ranked high school kids. Been there done that.

This isn't an attack on you, just my opinion.

Na. I feel you bro. I’m just ready to see what we have and can’t wait to see if any of Chandler or Noah have taken that next big step. I just don’t know if either are gonna be more than solid back. But I Could be wrong and Chandler could be taking mins from kids kids like Aberdeen
