The Tom Allen hire certainly isn’t paying off so far. They look horrible, to state the blatantly obvious. Go Cuse!

The targeting on the Syracuse QB was ruled not targeting. Looked like targeting to me. Would have gone against us, I'm certain. Taters would've lost their best defender and been in deep 💩

This weather delay crap is getting ridiculous. We've gotten soft as a country. Do you ever remember any games being delayed by weather unless it was storming right on the stadium? Heck I remember us playing a game in a hurricane once. During an update on the weather delay, I just saw the fans sitting in their seats at Clemtech. If they're that concerned about safety, shouldn't they evacuate the stadium and make you leave? Sorry just venting.

All I know is if they actually lose this game today against Syracuse we need to figure out some way to win tonight to make it worse.

Dabo just said, “I just want to see us fight” going into the 4th quarter. He knows it’s over. No hope to win in his voice, just wants to avoid a blowout.

What happened to Syracuse's starting QB? He was excellent. I missed all of the third quarter

Imagine if your the Clemson brass right now:

You hand Swinney a 10-year $115 milllion contract directly on the heels of Venerables and Scott departure - the assistants which obviously were driving their success.

From his high horse, Dabo then proclaims that his team doesn't need the NIL and Portal to have success.

He's so good than he can turn water into wine.

Now you're sitting with massively overpaid coach and a contract until the end of time along with a major ripple in talent caused by ego of the Yahoo you're stuck with. :)

They'll eventually buy their way back into ACC contention now that Dabo has had a change heart - but it's must see TV in the moment.

We really don't have room to be laughing at how others spend money. What do we have for what we have spent....nothing!

Our winningest coach in history over a similar time frame?
Who really hasn't won anything of consequence. Your pride in Beamer's "accomplishments" is seriously mystifying.

Dabo has delivered championships, Beamer has delivered a few big regular season wins. I'd say Clemson's money has been better spent.

I have no pride for coaches. I do not know them. I follow the data.

Also, I'm not sure where the Dabo thing comes in?

We're not Clemson so we use our history as the benchmark (resources, etc) for the apples-to-apples comparative.

When you are having a bad day, it's aways better when your rivals are doomed to a bad decade.

The only silver lining so far this season is that Clemson is having a bad season so far as well. Sadly, I have higher expectations that they'll right the ship to some degree than we will. Dabo has shown that ability.

Maybe he has more depth of character than I credit to him, but IMO, he is a man who failed to change with the world. Imagine a world in which Clemson had invested in NIL rather than Dabo. Aren't you glad that world doesn't exist. (Or if the parallel universe thing is true, aren't you glad you don't live in that one?)
