I read where BV doesn't want to go after any kids that Clemson already has committed to them. There are several dudes he recruited that would probably follow him if he recruited them to OU. I know BV is a nice guy but this is a cut-throat business, I hope he is reaching out to a few, esp that Kanak kid.

I really appreciate his approach because it will show kids and parents he is a stand up guy.

The young men can, if they desire, withdraw their commitment to Clemson and go somewhere else. No need for BV to do anything to be viewed in a bad light.

So you want him to do the same thing that we are eviscerating TBOW for?

Riley recruited those kids to play for him cause he knew they were good players. They havent signed an LOI yet so they are free game. Maybe he has reached out and those kids want to play for Clemson, not a coach. If Riley had come in and started taking current players that are on the roster, I would say that was wrong. I am not mad at Riley for reaching out to those recruits, or for leaving. Its the way he did it, with all the half-lies, that pisses me off.

The difference in the two coaches is striking. Clearly Riley sold Riley on the recruiting trail, while BV sold Clemson. So when Riley left, those players went with him, having zero attachments to OU. If I was an AD hiring a coach today, I know which I'd rather have.

Ah, thats what I get for skimming the headlines. Got suckered. My mistake.
Good grief. Just like you did to me on Orangebloods regarding the Mixon ordeal. You were feeling pretty good about it until I pointed out to you the Bobino video. Again, try doing your research before posting your "gotcha" posts.

Jaren Kanak will be one guy I will keep my eye on, he's a stud the typical BV linebacker. If we can flip him that will be a huge plus in my book.

Kanak is my biggest recruit now. He really likes Clemson from what I’ve read, but the day is young.
