was that a pick-play penalty? Looks like the Clemson receiver flat out blocked and tackled the Alabama DB to clear the way for the TD pass. Hmmmm.

I didn't care who won, but in the end I was rooting for Clemson. just to spread the wealth around.

Contact allowed within 1-2 yards of the LOS. It was man to man coverage and the DB covering the slot wasn't contacted and chose to go over the hump and not through it. why not go through it and force the refs hand? It was clear he wasn't going to be able to stop it going around the mess. Getting offensive PI was the only way to stop that play.

Also not sure who tackled who on the outside. DBs hands were on the outside of the receivers shoulder pads and the receiver was going down, depending on the ref's vantage point could have looked like DB pulled. Him down. Good no call.

I noticed on that last td the Bama player grabbed the Clemson receiver, taking himself out of possibly getting to #13. One thing's for sure, it was a helluva game.

Quit listening to the talking heads, there was no pick on the game winning TD.

Smart play by outside receiver to go down. Bama defender choose to jam him, and he went down. He never made a move toward inside defender, never even looked at him. Not a penalty.
