Welp that's basically a for sure 4 more years for the GOAT!
I was just thinking this as well.
The GOAT turns 72 this month, which means he will be 76 during his grandsons senior season.
If he retires at 76, he could very well leave college basketball with 1,300 wins and I don’t think that record will be broken in our lifetime.

Zion will be gone...so maybe he gets his number...probably not, but could you imagine if he used both the Krzyzewski & Savarino names. That would probably be a record for longest name. And yes I know his mom doesn't hyphenate her name, but hey...we're just having fun!

I said in another thread that I wish his last name was Krzyzewski. It would be so awesome to see that name on the back of a jersey going up and down the floor. Imagine a photo of him hitting a 3 with that name showing on the jersey!!! That would be my new avitar!!!
Very cool. Agree. One would think K coaches a few more years to see his grandson play for him.
Having worked for my dad a number of years when I was much younger....it sounds cool until you do it. Hope Savarino has a great time at Duke.

He is a pretty good player. We played against him last Summer at team camp at Catawba and he was solid fundamentally and a good shooter... heard while down there he had a few offers to lower D1 type schools not sure if that’s true or not
Hard to pass on any offer from Duke. I would be a walk-on janitor for Cameron Indoor Stadium if I could.
Agree completely I would jump at the chance to play for Duke or be a walk-on manager whatever
Grandsons have it easier than sons. I would start him first game to show favoritism
K can retire when his grandson turns 30 and is ready to take over for the next 50 years. After that, my grandson can worry about Duke’s next coach (I don’t have kids yet).

Wendell Carter's mother has already written an Op-Ed stating that Coach K. did not his grandson the right way.
I don't care what kind of special treatment it takes, trampoline or whatever, but this kid needs to dunk on Jim Boeheim's son. Preferably at Cameron.
