This is the crap we hear about Calipari every season - so K, win it all or this season is a failure.

I don't think anyone with credibility would say Duke or UK's season would be a *failure* without winning the NCAA tournament. Most people get the fact that the NCAA tournaments one and done format kills a lot of great teams.

And if anyone is dumb enough to call the season a failure because of a bad day in March, odds are good that person doesn't know much about college basketball.

You're forgetting about Kansas and Arizona too, they tend to bring in quite a few umm.. Pretty decent recruits.

Flaming out early should earn as much criticism as any of Calipari's past teams have received.

Not winning a championship would be a monumental disappointment. I would categorize it as failure but it would certainly be a bigger disappointment than 2010

Doubt you'll hear anybody at espn mention Duke not winning it with 9 A-As. Maybe Dakich.
