Yes he does! I like Izzo, but I'm about getting tired of this 'doing so much with so little' crap. You either get it done, or you don't. And K gets it done a lot more than Izzo. Coach K is the G.O.A.T.

I've always liked and respected the hell outta Izzone, as he openly says K is the pinnacle of greatness that keeps him fresh and at the top of his game. But he kinda laid it on thick about the fouls and FTS we shot yesterday. Didn't wanna give a great Duke team and performance as much credit, always saying 'Duke had some to do with it, but we played pretty crappy, we had terrible shot selection or we the foul trouble is what took us outta the game.'

I know he's sick and tired of getting his *** kicked by K, but this was a spectacular performance by Duke, and frankly I found myself angry with more than a handful of calls they called on us, but definitely didn't see any blatant bad calls he could've been too upset with in our favor.

Let's Go Devils!!

I really respected Izzo a lot until last night. Something about his post game comments and complaining about the officiating and needing to recruit better rubbed me wrong. He pretty much said the officials cost them the game and that it was not called fairly, and had nothing at do with Duke just stomping a mud hole in em.

He sounded like Roy or someone else and my level of respect dropped for him significantly.

you can complain about the refs when you lose by 4, but when you lose by 20....

MSU was not in the same league as the other 3 teams and it showed.

The officials made their own bed. That first 4 minutes, they were not calling ANYTHING. Then all of a sudden, they were calling things closer.

The worst possible thing that could happen in that game: MSU came out how they did and they thought anything they shot would fall...

I wish that he hadn't have said those things. But, I think in the moment he was hurt and they really felt that they could beat us and win a national championship. Which would be extraordinary had it happened that way. In the end, our execution on the defensive end changed the outcome of that game. Once we went on that first initial run and grabbed a lead; it seemed Michigan State started committing stupid fouls and then later it was out of frustration, to stop a run out, or when it neared the end of the game. Both ends of the floor had inconsistent calls last night though. I was expecting us to win, but in a dogfight, not by twenty. Officials didn't do that, we did that, and some of it was poor decision making by Michigan State. Izzo admitted that as much after the game. I forgive him here. He was just frustrated.

I agree- I like Izzo but those comments were a bit iffy in my eyes as well. He got absolutely drummed, and that's not because of the way the officials called the game. The game has been featuring the dribble drive for a while now

Agreed. Izzo did the same thing in 13 after losing to Duke. He wines constantly about the refs. His March perception is so overblown IMO. He's a low seed half the time because his teams stink it up for half the season every yr. they were the favorite going into lady YR and ended up a 4 seed. His teams finally come to form in the tourney and beat some teams they are better than and he's deemed an amazing tourney coach. Then he plays the cream of the crop in the final four and takes it in the rear. They didn't belong on the floor with duke last night ... Spare me the refs

Yea, close game call out the officials a little if you must. When you get your *** handed to you by twenty, suck it up, take it like a man, and admit that the more talented and better coached team won. Lost a little respect for Izzo last night.

The talent level was not even close in this game. The MSU players knew it early second half.
