My Dad was there when the domers broke the streak, he never took me to a game or finally went back to one himself until the dreadful "Smells of Bourbon" year. It's all good though.

Yep, if we can advance up two or three notches with every game and, this is very important...don't lose, we could sniff some top five or top ten action in pretty short order.
Assuming the normal attrition of teams in the upper tier stubbing their toes along the way.

As for the Looney Quote, I'm not sure of the origin...I'm not familiar with it, but it was the general consensus that Joe Don WAS one of a kind...

I hope Your Dad is still with you and that he enjoys The Sooners from 50-Yard Line Seats like I do...The comfy sofa, in front of the TV...

Thanks. Yes I am blessed to have both parents still here and, most likely in better health than me. We were fortunate enough to have been together with them & my younger bro in front of the big screen for the Sugar Bowl win over Bama, whooping it up like a BOSS a day or two ago.
