I'm up $1129.27 currently, actually.

I won $15 on the night with about $500 worth of bets -- got a little buzzed and got silly and cost myself a decent $100-200 night. A push (loss) on a 4 team sweetheart teaser didn't help.

Took that 1st qtr line you through out and UL. Won 200 so I threw 50 at Appy just to say I did(plus that site has a habit of giving even odds to the halftime line they like) which is whatever.

I hate week 1 gambol TBH because really no one knows a thing and the way I bet I have to know something on the teams to understand the lines.

Dude, that was the lock of the Century. [eyeroll] at me going 1* on it, was pissed at myself the rest of the night and started chasing **** all over the place. Was fun tho. :)

Scaled back my unit to $50 for CFB after I've gotten slaughtered the last 2 seasons. Determined not to throw away my Summer & Rio winnings, at least not right off the bat.

Still livid we can't do the ML Parlay. That's a joke.

Damn sure will not run to a thread first thing and try to **** on someone when you never posted a pick. But anyway, back on topic. Will post picks for today, fade them mothertouchers if you like. I took UGA already myself. I'm not confident but I think Vegas is and it has a great chance to push.

I love the LSU line. Everyone has all but written them off as an SEC West powerhouse with Bama and Ole Miss as the top two. So I think LSU comes out looking to make a statement.

Nobody has forgot about LSU as a powerhouse. Multiple national media have picked them to the play in the playoffs and beyond. Not to mention they are #5 in one poll and #6 in the other.

Chief, everyone is on Bama, Clemson, OSU and UM BIG TIME. Hell I've heard the pros at ESPN say stupid stuff like the west "could" come down to LSU/Bama......no ****!

IMHO that's being but on a national back burner as a championship #5 in the country contender.

I've heard a lot about Bama, and Chad Kelly........but not a peep about that LSU kid at RB.

Anyway my post was more about them coming out hungry really.

I'm not sure what you are listening to or watching but I've yet to hear one national media member pump Ole Miss over LSU and Fournette. Especially after losing 3 first round picks.

Literally every other person they interview on college sports nation(sxm 84) is picking LSU to the playoffs. And all of them have Fournette as a Top 3 Heisman finalist. Who are you listening to?

I'm not really. I just haven't heard anything about LSU. I've heard a lot on the others. But I don't sit around watching/listening to sports all the time anymore either.

Still I've heard more about the others than LSU which is my point.......maybe I'm just not watching enough.

LSu because of the Fournette guy will be at least top 8. If he doesn't get hurt. He'll get 2K+ easy

Getting back to the topic of choice for this thread.. Where does everyone play through? I'm a total noob at considering putting some of my "fun money" down for this, having only done yahoo games and crap like that prior.

Use a local guy thru ACE23.

******** beats last night. Had Stanford -3.5 1st qtr. Up 3, with a punt return called back, they score a 50 yard td,,,, on the first play of the 2nd qtr. Pushed the 17 points team total and won the -7 for 1st half. Should have won all 3, but went 1-1-1. Nature of the game.

WVU over 14.5 points for 1st half v/s Mizzou.
Michigan over 27.5 points 1st half v/s Hawaii

Ok going to throw some education out there, please do not take this as me being a know it all just advice some may want to use, that isn't 100 proof.

If a home team is a -6.5, -9.5, -13.5, etc etc be leery. If Vegas makes that line they are trying to get you to think "oh they easily got 28 more than that team" and then boom some kind of garbage happens and the bait was too much.

Love the 7.5 / 8pt lines.

So you are saying if a line is 6.5 then people may think a team is 28 pts better ? What am I missing in your post ? I Have never thought to myself "hmmm, this line is only 9.5, I think it should be 28."
