Would be a nice cinderella moment for the 4 seed to make it to Omaha. I’m also okay with Duke being the 2nd ACC team to punch a ticket to the CWS - that would allow the ACC to match the SEC for the most by any conference.

That was a wipeout by the Duke player but it was very strategic. The runners body was in the baseline but he wiped out the 2nd baseman with his right foot which was not in the baseline.
And Murray State has as many College World Series appearances as U-uh-Kay.

I think the outrage over the 13 SEC teams being selected is a lot more prolific than we know, as many sports analysts are publicly directing their criticism to the overt bias and influence that ESPN has displayed for several years towards the SEC. There are countless baseball teams who were deprived (like UL last year) of having an invitation when one conference can dominate like the SEC, not to mention hosting privileges.
My undergraduate degree is from MSU. This is a dream World Series for me. I hope they meet in the championship.
