Who carries? Who don't?
With recent protest, I think it is a must. BLM in Atlanta is trying to shutdown I75 per Whas11

Why is the Bureau of Land Management attempting to shut down interatate traffic in Atlanta?
Not sure about Bureau of Land Management wanting to shutdown "interatate" traffic, but #BLM was attempting to shutdown I75................................

I don't even own a gun but I support the 2nd amendment, and will always support the right to bare arms, for Americans that want too. Liberals always talk about fear and such with gun violence. The fact is they are the ones pushing fear on law abiding citizens.

How about you liberals tackle the real problem? Crime in inner cities, drugs, and black on black gang crime.

No. More threads on the .002% are needed. If we just stop the rare incidences that amount to a mole hill, eventually we'll work toward the mountain.

I think this is how it works now.

Be careful making statements like that, there is a few who will call you racist, and accuse you of diverting the attention from the 2 recent cop killings. For the record , to date, 5 blacks, 5 whites killed by cops so far in July.

Licensed to, rarely do. Job doesn't allow it, golf course definitely doesn't allow it. So, rarely do. Easy target I guess.

oh FTR, I carry a takedown Windham AR-15 in a "fan bag" I keep locked in a compartment in my truck with first aid and other essentials. Got 3 Pmags (30 round mags) inside the bag as well. I like to be prepared.

I carry a Glock 42 and a Glock 19 except when not allowed like at work. Sometimes I only carry my Glock 19.

Yea well not paranoid just love guns, always been around them, and feel comfortable knowing if **** hits the fan I'm good. Plus I shoot a lot and sometimes I like to go to the range after work without going home to get a rifle. Gotta takedown carbine on the ready.

this is the SHTF bag I have and similar rifle. Underside holds safety essentials, first aid / knife / lighter / flashlight etc.

Locked up at all times. I'd rather people call me paranoid and have the option over thinking it's paranoid and having no option. Be surprised how many people have these though.

I carry occassionally. My good'ole S&W 638. I'm pretty boring and usually just don't go many places. I have switched my pocket knife though. I used to carry a gentleman's Case folder, but have switched to 2 deep carry lockers. A black Camillus Titanium and a black Kershaw Tanto Blur. If eventually like a ZT. A good knife is better than nothing at all.

Like S&C, I like to be prepared....but it doesn't sound like I'm quite at his level......yet.

I have and do ! Hope I don't ever have to but if the need arises I'd rather have a fighting chance than to be a victim.

I have a permit, but never carry on my person.

I am 62 years old and never been in a situation where I've needed a gun, but there have been times I've been places that I was glad I had one.

Been collectin gguns for a while. Takes time they're so expensive.

Love the Blur. Great knife. Very fast.

I've got a great shop I buy guns through who allows for 9 month layaway on purchases over 700. Great deal. If you're looking to purchase some weapons and don't have the means to pay up front they're a great option. Let me know if you're interested I'll drop the info.

I don't. I never have. Never will. I've never felt the need to use a gun once in my life.

But, I don't care if you guys do. More power to you.

That can change in milliseconds. Hope it doesn't and hope if it does you'll be alive to correct the mistake.

I don't see how concealed carry is a deterrent to crime.
I would think having your piece exposed would be better.

Heck yeah, I'm interested. Most shops I look at allow 3 mo lay-away. Is you shop in the Bluegrass area?

No they're in Missouri. Loftis pawn. They have a huge selection and if they don't have what you want they can get it.

Go to gunbroker.com and make an account. Search loftis guns *and just "loftis". They have two different locations. Once you're paid up they'll simply ship it to your FFL dealer.

They have several lay away plans with the best one being purchases over 700 (or 750 can't remember) and you get 270 days to pay (9 months). After finding them I hadn't bought anywhere else. Just paid up a 2800 dollar LWRC .308 used. Came beautiful and exactly as advertised, but they have anything you want new. They'll send any pictures of the gun you need if used. Very honest people from what I've seen and I've been dealing with them for a few years now.

Yes, I carry, and I will continue to carry. Hopefully, I will never have to use it. I won't hesitate to if the need arises. No gun law is going to take the gun "from my cold dead hands", as the saying goes. If you are a man of the house, it would be wrong for you not to defend yourself and your family.

I couldn't imagine hating gun owners and gun rights so much that you won't even take advantage of something most civilizations in history would have died for. Not to mention, the added protection of your family. I don't think some people grasp how dangerous this world is. 320 million people. Yea, leaves a huge pool of psychos.

I am on the cheap side. I have several weapons of varying types but only shoot occasionally now. I do keep an ample supply of ammo just in case. Oh, and yes I do on the occasion that I am out and about. I always figured if I had to use more than a box of shells to defend myself I am dead anyway but I will die trying. (I do like target shooting though and want to keep enough ammo around in case of a disturbance of some sort.)

Agreed. If it's an apocalypse kind of situation, then I likely don't want to live much anyway.

It's a disaster....like where people are rioting and such, I plan to barricade myself up and ride it out. If I have to engage in a big fight then I will look to fight/relocate as much as possible to get out of there.

If it's an active shooter situation, I plan to hide in a corner or get away. I want to remain hidden and protect me and my loved ones......or protect myself and loved ones as we get out. Engaging in a drawn out shootout is last resort.

I like my .380 for daily carry (When I carry) it is super small but packs a wallop using the Teflon tipped rounds. When I carry it on my belt it looks like a phone or camera case or a wallet. In my pocket you can't tell I have it.
