Just funny that six of the 10 examples were teams that left the Big East for the ACC, which in many ways, is simply the New Big East, big upgrade in stability but maybe not so much in the quality of football played. Heck, lots of their games in the ACC are against the same teams they used to play in the old BE.

Most fans in the ACC see football as nothing more than entertainment to keep occupied until the hard court season returns.

Well, when a "defense" relying on facts shows that of all the teams, WVU suffered the greatest decline it's not exactly powerful.

It's also odd that he thinks those stats dictate a need for "patience," especially when TCU joined the same league we did at the same time and Utah joined the Pac 12 when we switched. In fact, as he bases his stats on the four years before and after the switch, those stats contribute exactly nothing to the argument for patience. What they show is that other teams have in fact, "rise[n] to their new levels of competition." in the 4 year period in which we haven't.

The one fair observation one could make is that moving to the ACC is probably easier than to any other conference. Excluding Miami, whose problems have little to do with the conference switch, the ACC teams take all the top spots.
