Still trying to figure out how Oturu wasn’t first team all big ten. 1st in rebounds, field goal %, blocks, and second in scoring. Guess he gets penalized because the rest of Minnesota’s team wasn’t very good.

Didn’t bump Jalen Smith off the first team. They tend to reward winning teams. Otherwise how you explain Trice making 3rd team...

I know they reward winning teams which is stupid since these are individual awards. Just because the rest of Minnesota’s roster wasn’t very good shouldn’t take away from what oturu did.

Again 1st in rebounds, 2nd in scoring, 1st in fg %, 1st in blocks.

Garza’s ranks were 4th, 1st, 3rd, and 8th.

The announcers love to talk about how Garza plays sooo many minutes sooo hard and yet he wasn’t even in top 10 in league in avg minutes per game. Oturu was.

Oturu wasn’t just jacking up shots because he was on a bad team either- he had 413 fg attempts on the year to 530 for Garza.
