OU's defense is absolutely putrid. Who is their DC? Can't tackle and can't cover is a bad combo.

Enjoyed the game. It is now clear that I-State is the best team in Iowa. The torch has been passed. Lucky for the Hawkeyes they don’t play this year.

Good win, but ISU did lose to Louisiana-Lafayette. OU might be lucky to go bowling this year. Lucky for them they're getting Urban after Lincoln leaves for the NFL.

Good to see ISU win vs OU. A rare win. Too bad they don’t play the Herky circle Jerks this year. Would be nice to see them get drubbed and knocked down a few pegs.

it isn't surprising given the disruption to spring ball, summer workouts and fall camps that teams are stuggling early in the year. You would expect that the teams with the most raw talent would compensate for the lack of practice time better. So far that hasn't seemed to matter all that much. The real difference in that game was the end zone interception that OU's freshman QB threw near the end of the game. It was going to be a tight throw but it certainly appeared that ISU got away with holding the receiver just enough for him to not be able to at least have a shot at a TD catch.
