Great player and could have been considered mvp for fumble recoveries and great play
Great game for Danny. This game was all D and special teams...my UT fans are angry I'm giving Manning little to no credit, but I watched the game (as awful as it was). I've said this is a lifetime achievement win for Manning and cements him as a top 3 all time QB...not debatable anymore.

Sometimes stars don't mean squat. It's how you are coached, you're development, and if you are a late bloomer. Or overlooked like many guys in the nfl.Hard to believe that DT was a borderline 2-3 star player coming out of HS IIRC.
Two fumble recoveries and led the team in tackles with 8.. his fellow linebacker garnered the MVP honors ..well deserved, but DT was just as valuableAgree Phatty....if he doesn't get that ball, I think Carolina would have gone on to win the game. He fought off 3 or 4 Carolina players to get that ball.
I looked at the box score this morning, and unless there's a misprint, they had him for 1 fumble recovery, which is wrong.

Linebacker U. Woodyard, Trevathan, Williamson. ......hopefully the list continues with Forrest.
Bud was a end.
I was thinking 4-3. But, yes, Bud could be added to that list as a DE/OLB in a 3-4 scheme. No love for Bud?
Also team leader with eight tackles, but do think the right guy got MVP for his 2.5 sacks and 6-7 races I thinkGreat player and could have been considered mvp for fumble recoveries and great play
